Suitcase Packing Tips

With these suitcase packing tips you and your luggage can travel stress free so you and your soulmate can enjoy your vacation without worrying about things getting lost or breaking and soiling your clothes.

To avoid the stress over lost luggage, take a carry on bag on board your flight with essentials you can't do without such as medications, travel documents and one outfit.

When packing, less is more. Pack clothes that you can mix and match with each other, neutral shades are good as well.

A good idea if you're traveling with a companion - each pack an outfit in your companion's suitcase in case one of your bags is lost in transit.

Stuffing a suitcase to the max causes clothes to wrinkle. Keep your bag full but not overpacked.

Rolling pants, skirts and certain shirts may help to keep your clothes wrinkle free.

For a shirt, put it face down, fold the sleeves back and roll from the bottom up.

You can also try folding two or more articles of clothing together. Lay half of one clothing piece on top of another.

Fold the bottom clothing piece over the top one. Take the other article of clothing and fold it on the top.

Toiletries can be placed in small plastic containers or wrapped in plastic to protect clothing in case they break or leak.

Shoes should be placed in plastic bags to keep them from touching clothes.

If you don't have a travel iron and the hotel room doesn't either, try hanging wrinkled clothing in the bathroom during a shower.

The steam will help to de-wrinkle them. Bringing along some plastic bags is a good idea.

You can put dirty clothing in them after you wear them and keep them from soiling your clean clothes.

Also consider bringing along an expandable bag.

Any souvenirs you purchase can be placed in the bag and you won't have to worry about squeezing it into your luggage.

Most hotel rooms have hairdryers, shampoo and soap so you won't have to worry about taking those on your trip.

Be sure and check with the hotel to see what items they include in your room.

Pack last what you will need first when you arrive at your vacation location.

That saves time from taking everything out of your suitcase to find what you need.

Enjoy your romantic vacation!
